Photographer Georgia Kuhn has been part of the FvF network in London rather exactly for one year. Originally from Germany, she moved to London and has never looked back. Here her talents have been noticed and she was accepted into Central St. Martins – touted as one of the best universities nationwide. Here Georgia finished postgraduate photography studies. She is one of those lucky ones that has a gift of always managing to capture the perfect moment and be in the right spot at the right time with her camera and we are so grateful to be connected with her.

To add to her achievements, she has shot for a multitude of international clients and publications such as The Boat Magazine and The Telegraph, focusing on portrait photography. For FvF, Georgia is not just the perfect fit to capture guest like artist and DJ Margot Bowman or Jo Sindle and Kyle Stewart from Goodhood but also continuously pitching extraordinary guests and realizing the fantastic productions so effortlessly. Besides her freelance work, Georgia runs the 63sunstudio where she united 25 diverse creatives. To catch a moment without Georgia poised behind the lens and she will most likely be traveling. On her various adventures, she gets to know as many local people as possible. This dynamic engagement is certainly responsible for the outstanding authenticity located within her work.

What’s your favorite daily ritual?
I mostly drink coffee in the morning and I also wash and get dressed most days but surely those are habits? Coffee might be an addiction though.

What do you do when you are not working with FvF?
I photograph all sorts of people for various clients and also run 63sunstudio with a friend. We divided the top floor of an old warehouse into a work studio with 25 creatives of all sorts and with a great atmosphere and a photography studio which we use and hire out to an ever growing client base.

Where do you go when you want to relax or get inspired in your city?
I love to be outside amongst random people on the streets and walk and watch.

How has technology influenced you?
In such a massive way on many levels- positive and negative. For example, I had plenty of time the other week when my computer had to be fixed – it was scary and made me realise how much time I spend and waste online. However, on the positive side, it has changed my world and everyone else’s in that information is readily available and connection is made much easier and more sustainable. I feel that through technology a lot of barriers are torn down which I find exciting and important. Also, I never used to read newspapers but now I catch the news online.

Best travel memory?
There are many but recently the sheer impact of being in Istanbul the other week . There were so many impressions washing over me on various levels. I literally had to keep asking, “what is happening when, where and how”, as my brain couldn’t process all the incoming information properly. I loved it! I love meeting as many local people as possible when I am away. I try to do that everywhere I travel.

Your latest artistic discovery (musical, art or design)?
At the moment I have this on repeat – Flume but that changes quite quickly, last week it was Rim & Kasa. I also love the Blogotheque series, and on there especially Aloe Blacc & Feist’s gig.

What was the last great meal you ate & where?
Gulriz Egilmez home cooking in Istanbul.

Three websites – more or less – you visit daily ?
Facebook, I’m afraid, is a permanently visited tab and then BBC news and Soundcloud, but I actually have about 20+ tabs open on my browser at any one time as I need them close by in a sense as if I bookmarked and closed them I’d instantly forget about and never open them again I fear…

Who would you like to see featured next on FvF?
Byron Pritchard, exceptional Lebenskuenstler and artist, Guelriz Egilmez, international fashion connector and producer, Duffy, jeweller, Kez Glozier, editor and illustrator.

With whom would you like to have dinner with?
I often thought the most interesting company may be someone I don’t understand or wouldn’t even like- like a Prime Minister or a boss for a big bank or someone off-key like that just so I can talk to them whilst they are slowly getting pissed on dessert wine and start talking candidly! I find it hard to imagine that they seriously think that people in these positions are doing good and I am very intrigued to know how they would explain what they believe in. Also Michael Jackson has always been on my list as he was such a strange creature- guess I missed that one.

What is your most favorite picture on FvF and why?
I love the portrait of Gisele D’Ailly and also the image of Claire Cotrell standing in her orchard in Los Angeles. It reminds me of a memory perhaps I have never had, however evokes in me a distinct feeling of deja-vu.
