All You Can Eat food magazine makes us hungry for more

Print lovers seem to have an insatiable appetite when it comes to food magazines—there’s something primally fascinating about the lure of good food and the ritualized methods of preparing it.

Now, another magazine has the joined the fold to tap into this hunger, All You Can Eat. For Austrian publisher and journalist Tobias Müller there’s been an urgent need for a German food magazine that he wants to read himself: “Of course there are magazines for cuisines and recipe collections but something in between was missing.” As a journalist he also experienced that the greatest stories or pictures were sometimes the hardest to pitch to editorial teams. In the end, he simply decided to take his own shot at publishing. Together with friends and a small advertising budget, Tobias spent a year on the idea for All You Can Eat.

“Of course there are magazines for cuisines and recipe collections but something in between was missing.”

The first issue’s cover is not only looking great and greasy, it also gives a hint of the content. It’s all about the world of fats, the good and the bad: from a croissant baker in Vienna, to a baked marmot, all topped with lots of delectable tidbits. The magazine digs into the brutal, the artistic and the mundane yet beautiful aspects of cooking and food. We’re excited to indulge in more issues of All You Can Eat. Guten Appetit!
