Francesca Ferguson

Francesca Ferguson is a journalist and curator of numerous projects on architecture, urban design and critical spatial practice. She curated the transdisciplinary festival ‘Urban Drift’ in Berlin (2002), Deutschlandscape at the German pavilion for the Architecture Biennial in Venice (2004), Talking Cities at Zeche Zollverein as part of Entry, Essen (2006), and was director of the Swiss Architecture Museum – SAM in Basel. In 2015 she founded Make City, a festival for architecture and urban alternatives in Berlin that partnered with cultural institutes, architecture practices and civic groups.
